Prior to submitting a building permit application, the Planning staff will review the site plan and construction drawings for conformity with the County Zoning Regulations and applicable platting conditions. This packet will provide you with our standards and submittal requirements to assist you in obtaining the required approval from the Planning Department.

The Site Development Department is primarily responsible for many of the permits for the initial phases of a property’s development. However,
this Department also plays a part in the development of the site for an addition and/or remodel. Driveway Permits, Excavation Permits, Defensible Space Plans, Flood Hazard and Wetlands determination and Erosion Mitigation are all handled by this Department.

This packet will provide you with our standards and submittal requirements to assist you in obtaining the required permit from the Environmental Health Department. Prior to submitting a building permit application, the Environmental Health staff will review the septic system site plan and construction drawings for conformity with the County Individual Sewage Disposal Systems (ISDS) regulations.
